A representative from Vision Loss Alliance of New Jersey (VLANJ) will discuss the various programs and support offered by the organization during an in-person program taking place at the Clara Barton Branch on Monday, December 8, at 1:00pm.
At this time, Trisha Ebel, outreach specialist with VLANJ, will discuss the different center-based, community-based, and virtual programs available to those experiencing vision loss.
VLANJ empowers people with vision loss or blindness by providing support, education, and training in assistive technology and independent living skills. Ebel can be reached at (973) 627-0055, ext. 9 or via email at tebel@vlanj.org.
Additionally, patrons in need of assistance can also explore the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which offers valuable resources and services to support individuals with vision loss.
