On behalf of the entire community and the Edison Public Library Foundation, I wish to express my deepest gratitude to all who contributed to our 2025 Giving Tuesday campaign.

Thanks to the incredible support from dedicated individuals like you, we’re getting closer to this year’s ambitious goal of $10,000! Your commitment to the Library’s mission is truly inspiring and directly impacts the services we can provide to all Edison residents.

Your support ensures that we can continue to provide vibrant, modern, and welcoming spaces for learning, discovery, and community connection. Additionally, your donation is also an investment in the future of our Library system.

As many of you know, the Foundation will soon launch a capital campaign to assist the Library in purchasing vital new furniture and equipment for the renovated North Edison Branch, which is projected to reopen in the summer of 2026.

Your Giving Tuesday contribution provides crucial momentum as we move toward this exciting new chapter and more details regarding the capital campaign will be shared soon.

The Edison Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. For those who wish to make another gift, or for anyone who missed the Giving Tuesday campaign but still wants to contribute to the Foundation’s vital work, donations can be made via our secure website. Supporters can also send checks directly to:

Reading to your child has been scientifically shown to have numerous benefits, and the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten was designed to incentivize parents to give their children a head start.

Signing up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is easy to do through our Beanstack program, which also allows you to track the books you’ve read. For every 100 books, parents can earn a virtual badge and also claim a prize from their local Edison Public Library branch.
