The Edison Public Library will welcome vocalist Rupali Venugopal for a live performance of Hindustani classical music.
Enjoy the sounds of northern India, including centuries-old ragas and popular film music, at this all-ages concert taking place at the North Edison Temporary Branch on Saturday, January 31 at 2:00pm.
Venugopal, founder of the Edison-based Swar Leela Music Center, has been training students in Hindustani classical music for 12 years. She has acquired Sangeet Visharad from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Samved North America, and Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay in India.
