Since 1964, SCORE has helped more than 17 million entrepreneurs start, grow or successfully exit a business. Their 10,000 volunteers provide free, expert mentoring, resources and education in all 50 U.S. states and territories. So we’re lucky to partner with SCORE to provide a two-part workshop that allows small business owners and entrepreneurs to work with SCORE mentors to explore and build their business ideas and prepare them for a successful launch.
Part One, happening on Saturday, February 7, is about Exploring & Validating Your Business Concept. This session guides participants through the fundamentals of shaping and assessing a business idea. Topics include identifying customer needs, evaluating market fit, and determining feasibility.
The second part, occurring on Saturday, February 21, is all about Building the Foundation for Launch. This follow-up session helps participants begin turning their concept into a tangible plan. Subjects include basic financial considerations, operational needs, marketing essentials, and next steps for launching a business.
Both sessions will run from 11:00am until 1:00pm on their respective days at the Main Library. Registration for these workshops is required. Space is limited to 16 attendees, and we require a minimum of 8 to hold this workshop. To ensure that mentors are available to guide you during this workshop, please briefly describe your business idea in the registration process.
