Adult patrons age 18 and older can learn how to plant, care for, and harvest fast-growing, nutrition-packed greens for salads, smoothies, and garnishes, right from your windowsill at the Wednesday, March 18 Mighty Microgreens program.
The program, taking place at the North Edison Temporary Branch at 6:30pm, will be presented by Brittney Portes, founder of Gardens of Sol—a business rooted in helping urban community members nourish the gardener within. Participants will enjoy a fresh taste test as well as leave with both a planted tray and the confidence to grow food indoors year-round.
Registration is suggested but not required.
