This year, New Jersey Makers Day will run from March 20 through March 22, and, at the Edison Public Library, we are celebrating with several different age-appropriate events.

Patrons ages 2 to 5 years old can join us on Friday, March 20 to make paper chains during the Community Craft Hour program taking place at the Main Library from 11:00am to noon or head over to the Clara Barton Branch at 11:30am for the Mini Makers Make Robots program and the opportunity to make a 2D robot out of paper or a 3D robot from a paper cup.

The Clara Barton Branch will also host a fun, creative, and eco-friendly Jar Lids Magnet Making program on Friday, March 20 at 3:00pm. Patrons of all ages are invited to stop by and celebrate Makers Day  by creating one-of-a-kind collage magnets by upcycling plastic and metal lids.

Additionally, on Sunday, March 22 at 2:00pm, families are invited to stop by the Main Library for the Makers Week RPG Dice Bracelets program. Turn your favorite game into your favorite accessory and a conversation piece while increasing your nerd-cred with a custom dice bracelet. Participants will be able to choose the dice and beads to make their dream color scheme.
