Edison Public Library patrons in fourth through seventh grade are invited to attend a 90-minute workshop with Inventing A-to-Z that is designed to elicit the inventor in everyone!
Led by Lisa Ascolese, CEO & founder of Inventing A to Z, LLC, the Saturday, April 25 workshop will cover all aspects of the inventing process from concept to fruition and is designed to help participants think outside of the proverbial box by using their imagination to solve everyday problems.
During the 90-minute workshop, taking place at the Main Library from 2:30 to 4:00pm, participants will work in small groups to handle a problem, build and name a concept for an invention to address it, and create a slogan, infomercial, and marketing plan. Groups will also pitch their product and infomercial with the winning pitch selected by Ascolese, an inventor who holds dozens of patents, trademarks, and copyrights and whose products have been featured on major television networks, radio stations, and in magazines.
Registration for the Inventing A-to-Z program is currently underway and participation is limited to 35 with a minimum of 10 required. |
