Join Tanya Singh, PhD, of CALM Therapy at the North Edison Temporary Branch for the Understanding Anxiety and How It Works program on Friday, April 24 at 2:00pm.
This hour-long session will explore how worry shows up in your life, what triggers it, how it functions, and the beliefs or past experiences that may be fueling a need for constant vigilance. Through mindfulness-based practices and somatic awareness, participants will also learn practical tools to help interrupt the worry cycle and reconnect with a grounded, present-moment experience.
Singh is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and major life transitions. CALM Therapy was founded to create a space for healing that is both grounded and expansive.
This program is open to patrons ages 18 and older, no registration required.
