Wednesday, April 29 is International Dance Day and, at the Edison Public Library, we are celebrating with a family-friendly program centered around Kuchipudi dance.
Kuchipudi is one of the eight major Indian classical dance forms and features lively tempo, intricate footwork, and a blend of graceful and energetic movements.
During the 6:00pm program, taking place at the Main Library, Neelima Raju, recipient of a 2026 New Jersey Heritage Fellowship awarded by the NJ State Council on the Arts, and her students will host a short discussion and demonstration followed by a performance.
