New York Times bestselling author Jason Reynolds will chat about his latest work, Coach, the fifth–and last–entry in the "Track” series, during a virtual program taking place at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 30. 
 
In addition to the popular series, Reynolds is also the author of Miles Morales: Spider Man, Long Way Down, which received a Newbery Honor, a Printz Honor, and a Correta Scott King Honor, and Look Both Ways, a National Book Award Finalist. Reynolds, who was recently named the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, is on faculty at Lesley University for the Writing for Young People MFA Program and has appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and CBS This Morning.

The New Jersey State Library offers the Palace Project, a new digital library service, that offers access to free ebooks and audiobooks in one easy-to-use app for all residents of New Jersey. Through the Palace app, library users have access to over 20,000 items curated by the Digital Public Library of America and the New Jersey State Library.

Signing up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is easy to do through our Beanstack program, which also allows you to track the books you’ve read. For every 100 books, parents can earn a virtual badge and also claim a prize from their local Edison Public Library branch.
