Edison Public Library cardholders are invited to join film historian Kelli Marshall on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00pm for a virtual, HD-video journey through Chicago’s comedic roots.

Explore the Marx Brothers’ childhood home and their quirky Route 66 chicken farm while discovering the “anarchic comedy” genre. Then, shift gears to Bob Newhart’s iconic Windy City landmarks. From slapstick to deadpan delivery, experience the history and locations behind the legends who redefined American humor.
