‘Take me out to the… Main Library’ and join Yankee Stadium organist Ed Alstrom on Monday, May 18 for a look at America’s pastime from behind the keyboard. 
 
Alstrom is currently in his 23rd season as the weekend organist at Yankee Stadium and, during the 7:00pm From the (Organ) Bench program, will talk about his job, demonstrate how it gets done, and tell stories about his experiences at the Stadium. 
 
Demonstrations, funny anecdotes, recorded artifacts, and live organ playing will also be featured in this fast-paced and entertaining show ideal for fans interested in a ‘behind the scenes’ look at an oft-overlooked part of the baseball experience.
