Get ready to buzz with excitement as we explore the wonderful world of bees with Julie Jay on Thursday, June 4

During an educational and interactive hour-program, taking place at the North Edison Temporary Branch at 6:30pm,children and their families can get an up-close look at a real observation hive, meet some very busy honeybees, and have the opportunity to taste honey.

Through stories, movement, and interactive activities, attendees will learn how these important insects collect pollen, nectar, and water; how they find new homes; and the important roles they play in our environment. Additionally, Jay, a backyard beekeeper, will also share what it is like to care for hives and discuss how bees live and work together.

No registration is necessary but seating, along with honey samples, is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
