Edison Public Library patrons are invited to join Brittney Portes, founder of Gardens of Sol—a business rooted in helping urban community members nourish the gardener within—for the Growing Your Impact: Cultivating Purpose, Passion, and Planet-Driven Work program taking place on Tuesday, July 14. 
 
Scheduled for 7:00pm at the Main Library, this motivational talk from the lens of a first-generation Afro Latina will touch upon such topics as following unconventional career paths, embracing sustainability, and making an impact in the world, no matter where you start.
 
Open to adults. Registration is suggested but not required.

Read back issues of the Home News Tribune dating back to 1871. The collection consists of scanned images of original papers dating back to 1871. Gaps exist in the collection as it is still being scanned.

Signing up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is easy to do through our Beanstack program, which also allows you to track the books you’ve read. For every 100 books, parents can earn a virtual badge and also claim a prize from their local Edison Public Library branch.
