Children ages 5 to 11 interested in learning more about what life was like for Americans in the Continental Army are invited to join us for an interactive program taking place at 6:00pm Wednesday, July 22 at the Main Library.
Matthew Travers of the Old Barracks Museum will lead an interactive program sharing what a day in the life of a soldier was like at the Old Barracks, including what they wore, carried, and ate. Families are invited to “enlist” and learn the basic skills needed to win independence.
Registration is not required, but space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
