Edison Public Library celebrates National Library Week with programs for all ages!

Every April, the American Library Association and libraries across the country acknowledge National Library Week as a way to encourage reading, library patronage, and overall library awareness.

What started as campaign in the late 1950s to increase library usage and promote learning; has grown into a national celebration of what libraries offer, library staff, and the joy of reading.

This year's theme "Connect with Your Library" highlights the many ways people can use their library; be it as a community center, information hub, or for life-long learning

The first National Library Week was observed in 1958 with the theme "Wake Up and Read!"

Excel for Beginners

Tuesday, April 5 at 2:00pm

We will teach you the basics of Excel in this course. An explination of each item
in the ribbon to make it easier to find the later. The numeric and alphanumeric
fundamentals of the cell. You will learn the benefits of creating additional worksheets.

Registration is required and Space is limited.

Crochet Class for Teens

Wednesday, April 6 at 4:00pm

Come and learn what you can make with a simple hook and yarn! Get free patterns, learn a new stitch, or show off what you already made.

Registration is very limited so call if you cannot attend. Thank you.
Please arrive early since at 5 minutes after program start time any spaces not checked in will be given away to people waiting in the library.
