The Summer Reading Challenge Is Here!

The Summer Reading Challenge has started and now's the time for you to swim circles around your competition for fun prizes and to be the best reader of the summer!

Take a deep dive into the summer challenge theme Oceans of Possibilities and float through the summer with a galleon of library events, books, and prizes.

Each time you read, log your titles into Beanstack, the library's new reading challenge software, to be entered in the grand prize drawing at the end of the summer.

Each time you visit the Library, whether for an event, books, computers, or just to browse; fill out an entry form for the weekly prize drawing. Every visit earns an entry!

Reading Buddies is here! If your child will be in kindergarten through third grade in September, he or she can sign up to practice reading out loud for 30 minutes once a week at any of our branches. Edison teen volunteers will be available at each branch to assist and encourage your child. This is a great way for children to practice not just their reading, but future public speaking as well! To sign up, please visit one of our branches for an application.

Finding a book is as easy as making a splash!
