Living In Space: Life on the International Space Station

Please join us for a special presentation by NASA Solar System Ambassador, Frank O'Brien. Over the last 20 years, the nations of the world have built the International Space Station to perform experiments and learn how the human body adapts to a lack of gravity. We will talk about the everyday life on the Station, and the challenges they face in this challenging environment.

Deep in the Colombian mountains, the Madrigal family possesses an extraordinary secret.

Each member of the family is able to perform magic. Yet at the heart of the family is 15-year-old Mirabel, who does not seem to possess any unusual abilities. Faced with this harsh reality, Mirabel struggles to reconcile her place within her family while searching for who she truly is.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

The starting point for teen volunteering at the Library.

TAB gives teens a platform to direct and shape services and volunteer opportunities at the Edison Public Library.
Meetings will take place bi-monthly, and alternate between the North Edison Branch and the Main Library.
TAB members are expected to attend meetings at BOTH locations.
Ages 14 – 18. Registration required.
