For each banned book you borrow, enter our drawing for a chance to win a copy of your favorite banned book. Each year the American Library Association (ALA) and public libraries throughout the United States celebrate Banned Book Week. This year Banned Book Week is Sunday, September 18 - Saturday, September 24, 2022. Public Libraries support the freedom to read and fight the censorship of books. Everyone should have the freedom to choose the books they want to read without the interference of others. Imagine not be allowed to read Little Red Riding Hood or Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham. The extremely poplular series Captain Underpants has also been on the list of books people have tried to ban and not allow you to read.
