Local artist makes art out of scribbles.
Throughout October, the Edison Library will be hosting an exhibit featuring selections from Barbara Neibart’s “Dailyscribble” collection.
Dailyscribble is a series of watercolor paintings interpreted from the actual doodles of other people. As Ms. Neibart explains, “Every drawing tells a story, and becomes an intimate, often humorous merging of two minds: that of the scribbler, and of mine as interpreter.” Each piece begins as a simple line scribble from one person and is then passed to Ms. Neibart, who finds the life within the scribble.
