Veterans Day is Friday, November 11, and we’d like to give our patrons the opportunity to thank local veterans for the sacrifices they made.

Veterans Greeting Card Craft Week
Tuesday, November 1 through Tuesday, November 8
All Branches

Visit the craft table at your local branch and make a thank you card for our local veterans.

Open to children of all ages.
Come into any branch of the Edison Public Library between Tuesday, November 1 and Tuesday, November 8 to make a Thank You card at our craft tables. Leave your card with the circulation desk, and after November 8, all cards will be taken to the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park and given to the veterans.

Did you know that veterans are still serving their communities, often in different careers, such as cooks, mail carriers, police, and even library workers in our own Edison Public Library? Some veterans even serve as Moms and Dads!

Find a veteran and thank him or her for protecting our country and our freedoms.
