Enjoy Explore India celebrates Diwali

A hands-on education and enrichment program focused on sharing India's culture and tradition of Diwali through displays, a lighting ceremony, a Happy Diwali dance and even a photo wall. Presented by Enjoy Explore India.

Rudra Dance Academy Diwali Dance Workshop

Renowned Bollywood choreographers, Miss Deepa and Mr. Sandy, will demonstrate short Bollywood and Fusion routines then teach participants an introductory Bollywood style dance routine.

Know a teen that’s interested in writing?

In honor of National Novel Writing Month, the Edison Public Library's Teen Advisory Board is encouraging Edison teens to flex their creative writing muscles with a short story contest.

The contest will run through the month of November and is open to Edison teens between the ages of 11 and 18. (Full rules are available on the submission form.)

Interested teens can pick up a flyer, Tips for Short Story Writing from NaNoWriMo’s Young Writers Program, at any Edison Public Library branch. They can also watch NaNoWriMo’s How to Write Short Stories webcast for tips and advice for the writing process.

The deadline for the contest is November 30 at 5pm, so encourage the teens in your life to get their creativity flowing and start writing!

Masks will continue to be a welcome option for anyone who wants
to wear them.
